Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Legacy). They simply couldn't be stopped on Monday as they easily beat the Amplus Academy Archers 85-6. Fans of the Longhorns have seen this all before: every one of the games they've played this season has ended in a blowout of 20+ points.

Alabama Nieves continued her habit of posting crazy stat lines, going 11 of 16 on her way to 29 points and five steals. She is trending in the right direction considering she's improved her point production for three straight games. The team also got some help courtesy of Trista Mabry, who dropped a double-double on 11 points and ten steals.

Legacy pushed their record up to 7-0 with the win, which was their ninth straight on the road dating back to last season. They've dominated over that stretch too, winning by an average of 43.4 points. As for Amplus Academy, their defeat dropped their record down to 1-3.

Legacy wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next game, a 70-35 loss against Virgin Valley on the 10th. As for Amplus Academy, they also didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next matchup, a 52-21 defeat against Southeast Career Tech on the 11th.
