The Arts Jaguars can now show off eight landslide victories after their most recent match on Saturday. They breezed by Millburn at home to the tune of 67-33. The win was nothing new for Arts as they're now sitting on three straight.
Millburn's defeat came despite a true team effort from the offense, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Zach Benmorits, who scored nine points along with six rebounds. The team also got some help courtesy of Jesse Schwartz, who scored five points.
Millburn struggled to get the ball back on offense and finished the game with only three offensive rebounds. That's the fewest offensive rebounds they've managed all season.
Arts' victory was their sixth straight at home, which pushed their record up to 14-4. Those good results were due in large part to their offensive dominance across that stretch, as they averaged 62.5 points per game. As for Millburn, their defeat dropped their record down to 13-4.
Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Arts won't have much time to rest: their next game is against Immaculate Conception at 1:00 p.m. on January 28th. Immaculate Conception has been dominant on offense recently, as they've racked up an incredible 408 points over their last five matches. As for Millburn, they will be playing in front of their home fans against Newark Collegiate Academy at 4:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
