After a string of eight wins, the Tri-State Christian Crusaders's good fortune finally ran out on Saturday. They were the victim of a rough 67-43 defeat at the hands of Caravel. Tri-State Christian has struggled against Caravel recently, as their game on Saturday was their sixth consecutive lost matchup.
Despite the loss, Tri-State Christian still got an impressive performance from Jeremiah Falko, who scored 22 points. The team also got some help courtesy of Sam Falko, who scored 13 points along with eight rebounds.
Tri-State Christian's loss dropped their record down to 13-3. As for Caravel, they have been performing well recently as they've won three of their last four matches, which provided a nice bump to their 6-3 record this season.
Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Tri-State Christian will take on Perryville at 6:30 p.m. on Monday. One thing working in Perryville's favor is that they have posted big point totals every time they've taken the court this season. As for Caravel, they will be playing at home against Appoquinimink at 12:15 p.m. on Saturday. Appoquinimink is coming into the game on a three-game losing streak.
