The Disney II Titans won the last time they faced the Wells Raiders, and things went their way on Thursday too. Disney II managed a 36-30 win over Wells. The victory made it back-to-back wins for Disney II.
Wells lost despite a true team effort on the offense, the best among them being Ryniaa Williams, who scored 11 points along with six rebounds and four steals. Those six rebounds set a new season-high mark for her. The team also got some help courtesy of Arianny Monserratt, who scored eight points along with six steals and five rebounds.
Disney II's win was their third straight at home, which pushed their record up to 4-5. As for Wells, they have been struggling recently, as they've lost five of their last six contests, which put a noticeable dent in their 2-6-1 record this season.
Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Disney II will challenge Intrinsic at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Wells, they will head out on the road to face off against Farragut at 5:00 p.m. on Thursday.
