They took their matchup on the road with ease, bagging a 67-31 victory over Mountain View Christian. The victory was familiar territory for Spring Mountain who now have eight in a row.
Joshua Ramos and Matthew Lindsey certainly did their best on Friday to avoid the loss. Ramos scored 18 points, while Lindsey dropped a double-double on 11 points and 13 rebounds. That was a full 35.5% of Mountain View Christian's points, marking the fourth time in a row he's earned more than a third of the team's points.
Spring Mountain's win was their fifth straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 14-3. Those victories were due in large part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 55.2 points per game. As for Mountain View Christian, they are on an eight-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 1-13.
Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Spring Mountain will challenge Round Mountain at 5:00 p.m. on Monday. Round Mountain will roll in looking for their seventh straight win, something Spring Mountain surely won't give up without a fight. As for Mountain View Christian, they will head out on the road to challenge Beaver Dam at 5:30 p.m. on Monday. The matchup should be an exciting one, as these teams are closely ranked in their respective states (Mountain View Christian is ranked 117th in Nevada, while Beaver Dam is ranked 102nd in Arizona).
