Mississinawa Valley suffered their biggest loss since December 16, 2023 on Tuesday. They ended up on the wrong side of a tough 77-57 walloping at the hands of Fairlawn. Mississinawa Valley was in a tough position after the first half, with the score already sitting at 55-31.
Despite the loss, Mississinawa Valley had strong showings from Cing Scott, who scored 13 points along with eight rebounds, and Bryson Gower, who scored 14 points along with five rebounds. As a matter of fact, that's the most points Gower has scored all season. The team also got some help courtesy of Kyle Wehrkamp, who scored nine points.
Meanwhile, Ansonia lost to Madison on the road by a decisive 62-46 margin on Saturday.
Mississinawa Valley's loss dropped their record down to 1-12. As for Ansonia, they have been struggling recently, as they've lost five of their last six matches, which put a noticeable dent in their 3-9 record this season.
