They took their game on the road on Saturday with ease, bagging a 53-21 victory over Riverside. Multiple players turned in solid performances to lead Miami East to victory, but perhaps none more so than Mckayah Musselman, who dropped a double-double on ten points and 11 rebounds. Musselman set a new season high mark in steals with five. The team also got some help courtesy of Maryn Gross, who scored 18 points along with five steals.
Meanwhile, Versailles beat New Bremen 46-35 on Thursday. That looming 46-35 mark stands out as the most commanding margin for Versailles yet this season.
Miami East's win bumped their record up to 7-0. As for Versailles, the win makes it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 3-1.
