The Hornets will look to defend their home field against the Golden Raiders at 4:30 p.m. The timing is sure in Green Bay Preble's favor as the team sits on four straight wins at home while Sheboygan North has been banged up by ten consecutive losses on the road dating back to last season.
Green Bay Preble's pitching crew heads into the game hoping to repeat the dominance they displayed on Tuesday. They put the hurt on Sheboygan South with a sharp 9-0 win. The result was nothing new for the Hornets, who have now won five matchups by eight runs or more so far this season.
Andrew Lindsley made a splash no matter where he played. He looked comfortable on the mound, striking out six batters over 3.1 innings while giving up no earned runs off three hits (and only one walk). Those six strikeouts gave him a new career-high. He was also solid in the batter's box, going a perfect 2-for-2 with one stolen base, one run, and one double.

In other batting news, the team relied heavily on Dallas Rady, who got on base in three of his four plate appearances with two stolen bases and three runs. Those three runs gave him a new career-high. Peyton Kuehn was another key player, getting on base in three of his four plate appearances with one stolen base, two RBI, and one run.
Green Bay Preble hit smart and finished the game with only one strikeout. They easily outclassed their opponents in that department as Sheboygan South struck out 11 times.
Meanwhile, Sheboygan North can bid farewell to their six-game losing streak thanks to their game on Tuesday. They won by a run and slipped past Green Bay Southwest 5-4. For those keeping track at home, that's the closest victory the Golden Raiders have posted since May 21, 2024.
Brett Rybarczyk was excellent, going 1-for-3 with one home run and two RBI. That home run was his first of the season. The team also got some help courtesy of Eric Paarmann, who went 1-for-3 with two RBI and one double.
Green Bay Preble's win bumped their record up to 11-5. As for Sheboygan North, their victory bumped their record up to 4-13.
