Southwestern Randolph's game last Friday was a loss, but they didn't let that memory haunt them on Friday. They really took it to the Jordan-Matthews Jets for the full four quarters, racking up a 48-18 win. The Cougars might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won five games by 24 points or more this season.

Southwestern Randolph has been performing well recently as they've won three of their last four contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 5-3 record this season. Those victories came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 37.0 points over those games. As for Jordan-Matthews, their defeat was their third straight at home, which dropped their record down to 5-4.

We've got plenty of inter-conference action coming up soon. Southwestern Randolph will take on rival Northwood at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Meanwhile, Jordan-Matthews is set to square off against their familiar foe Eastern Randolph at 7:30 p.m. on the 30th. That matchup will pit two of the most dominant backs against one another: Jakari Blue and Kobe Walker.
