Fruita Monument found their leader in underclassman Jhett Wells, who scored 21 points along with 6 rebounds and 6 steals. The matchup was Wells' third in a row with at least ten points. Max Orchard was another key contributor, scoring 11 points along with 6 rebounds and 3 steals.
Rifle struggled to work together and finished the game with only four assists. They were crushed by their opponents in that department as Fruita Monument racked up 12.
Fruita Monument's win bumped their record up to 3-0. As for Rifle, they still haven't won a game yet this season and fell to 0-4.
