They took their game at home with ease, bagging a 64-25 victory over Indiana Math & Science Academy North. The win was a breath of fresh air for Daleville as it put an end to their three-game losing streak.
Daleville's success was the result of a balanced attack that saw several players step up, but Addi Gothrup led the charge by scoring 27 points along with six steals. As a matter of fact, that's the most points Gothrup has scored all season. The team also got some help courtesy of Olivia Pratcher, who dropped a double-double on 16 points and ten steals.
Daleville's win ended a five-game drought at home and bumped them up to 6-13. As for Indiana Math & Science Academy North, their defeat dropped their record down to 6-16.
Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Daleville will take on Union at 6:00 p.m. on Friday. Union has been getting the ball to fall more lately as they've increased their point totals each of their last three games. As for Indiana Math & Science Academy North, they will be playing in front of their home fans against GEO Next Generation at 6:00 p.m. on Friday. The matchup should be an exciting one, as these teams are ranked near one another in Indiana (GEO Next Generation is ranked 402nd, while Indiana Math & Science Academy North is ranked 401st).
