Denison has gone a perfect 3-0 against Anna recently and they'll look to pad the win column further on Friday. The Yellow Jackets will face off against the Coyotes at 6:45 p.m. Anna took a loss in their last contest and will be looking to turn the tables on Denison, who comes in off a win.
Denison's pitching crew heads into the matchup hoping to repeat the dominance they displayed on Thursday. They blew past Sherman 7-0. The Yellow Jackets haven't had any issues with the Bearcats recently, as the game was their third consecutive win against them.

Camden Mack was a major factor no matter where she played. She looked comfortable on the mound, keeping things locked down with no earned runs or hits while striking out seven over four innings pitched. She has been consistent: she hasn't tossed less than seven strikeouts in seven consecutive appearances. She was also big at the plate, going 3-for-4 with one home run, three RBI, and two runs.
In other pitching news, Kamryn Watt looked comfortable as she pitched three innings while giving up no earned runs off two hits. She has been nothing but reliable on the mound: she hasn't given up more than two walks in four consecutive appearances.
Back at the plate, the team relied heavily on Makayla Tilley, who went 2-for-3 with three runs and one double. Jamison Milner was another key player, going 2-for-3 with one stolen base and two RBI.
Meanwhile, Anna was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their eighth straight loss. They came up short against Walnut Grove, falling 15-0. The shutout was out of character for the Coyotes seeing as the last time the team failed to score was back in March.
Anna saw two different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Ilyana Pech, who went 1-for-2 with one triple.
Denison's record now sits at 18-13. As for Anna, their defeat dropped their record down to 11-18.
Fans could be in store for some top-tier slugging on Friday. Denison hasn't had any problems when it comes to power this season, having averaged 0.7 home runs per game. However, it's not like Anna struggles in that department as they've been averaging 0.5 home runs. With so much power on both teams, it'll be down to the pitchers to keep the mound locked down.
Denison was able to grind out a solid victory over Anna in their previous matchup back in March, winning 5-1. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Yellow Jackets since the squad won't have the home-field advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
