Meanwhile, Deer Creek came into Monday's contest having lost four straight, but that streak is now in the rearview. They had just enough and edged Norman out 4-2. The win was just what Deer Creek needed coming off of a 12-4 defeat in their prior game.
Jenks' victory ended a three-game drought at home and bumped them up to 8-7. As for Deer Creek, the win got them back to even at 7-7.
