The Central Cabarrus Vikings put another one in the bag on Tuesday to keep their perfect season alive. They claimed a resounding 87-36 win over Robinson at home. Central Cabarrus has made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won 14 contests by 21 points or more this season.
Carson Daniel continued his habit of posting crazy stat lines, dropping a double-double on 27 points and 11 assists. As a matter of fact, that's the most points he has scored all season. The team also got some help courtesy of Chase Daniel, who dropped a double-double on 12 points and ten assists.
Central Cabarrus pushed their record up to 15-0 with that victory, which was their 24th straight at home dating back to last season. Those good results were due in large part to their offensive dominance across that stretch, as they averaged 90.0 points per game. As for Robinson, their defeat dropped their record down to 7-5.
Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Central Cabarrus won't have much time to rest: their next contest is against Lake Norman Charter at 7:30 p.m. on January 17th. One thing working in Lake Norman Charter's favor is that they have posted big point totals in their last four contests. Robinson will be staying on the road on Thursday to face off against West Rowan at 7:30 p.m. on January 18th. The matchup should be an exciting one, as these teams are ranked near one another in North Carolina (West Rowan is ranked 154th, while Robinson is ranked 170th).
