Seagoville lost despite a true team effort on the offense, the best among them being Isaiah Gonzalez, who scored 19 points along with five rebounds and three steals. Travion Hall was another key contributor, scoring 19 points along with seven rebounds.
North Mesquite has been performing incredibly well recently as they've won six of their last seven matchups, which provided a massive bump to their 13-10 record this season. As for Seagoville, their defeat dropped their record down to 18-7.
North Mesquite will look to defend their home court on Tuesday against Samuell at 7:30 p.m. The matchup should be an exciting one, as these teams are ranked near one another in Texas (Samuell is ranked 445th, while North Mesquite is ranked 465th). As for Seagoville, they will head out on the road to face off against West Mesquite at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
