The Fordham Prep Rams are on the road again on Tuesday and plays the St. Edmund Prep Eagles at 4:30 p.m. on February 6th. Hopefully Fordham Prep is not getting complacent, as they presents a significant challenge as they come into the match much higher ranked than the Eagles in New York (the Rams are ranked 90th, while the Eagles are ranked 316th).
On Sunday, Fordham Prep didn't have too much trouble with the Cardinals on the road as they won 58-44.
It was another big night for Matthew Kapfer, who dropped a double-double on 27 points and 13 rebounds. Another player making a difference was Will Gregory, who scored 21 points along with five rebounds.
Meanwhile, St. Edmund Prep beat the Eagles 52-42 back in January.
Fordham Prep has been performing incredibly well recently as they've won nine of their last ten matchups, which provided a nice bump to their 17-4 record this season. As for St. Edmund Prep, their victory bumped their record up to 8-5.
Fordham Prep took their victory against the Eagles when the teams last played back in December of 2023 by a conclusive 69-49. The rematch might be a little tougher for Fordham Prep since the squad won't have the home-court advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
