In what's become a running theme this season, the Cypress Lake Panthers gave their fans yet another huge win on Friday. They simply couldn't be stopped as they easily beat North Fort Myers 55-28 at home. The win was just what Cypress Lake needed coming off of a 66-36 loss in their prior game.
It was another big night for Bri Madore, who scored 26 points along with five rebounds and four steals. As a matter of fact, that's the most points she has scored all season. The team also got some help courtesy of Kylie Anderson, who scored eight points along with nine rebounds and two steals.
Several Red Knights players turned in solid performances, despite ultimately coming up short. Perhaps the best among those players was Bianca Iten, who scored eight points along with six rebounds and four steals.
Cypress Lake has been performing incredibly well recently as they've won seven of their last eight matchups, which provided a nice bump to their 14-5 record this season. As for North Fort Myers, their loss dropped their record down to 11-9.
Cypress Lake will be playing at home against Aubrey Rogers at 6:30 p.m. on Monday. As for North Fort Myers, they will head out on the road to take on Lely at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday. Lely will be looking to extend their current nine-game winning streak.
