Montgomery was the 51-38 winner over South Williamsport when they last played one another back in January, but their luck changed this time around. The Montgomery Red Raiders fell just short of the South Williamsport Mountaineers by a score of 66-63 on Wednesday. The Red Raiders' loss signaled the end of their three-game winning streak.

Montgomery's defeat was their first in the conference, dropping their conference record down to 2-1 and their overall record down to 4-2. As for South Williamsport, their victory bumped their record up to 4-1.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Montgomery and Galeton will round out the year against one another at at 2:45 p.m. on December 28th. South Williamsport and Muncy will compete for holiday cheer at 7:30 p.m. on Saturday. Muncy is strutting in with some offensive muscle as they've averaged 54.7 points per game this season.
