The Kellam Knights waltzed into their contest on Tuesday with two straight wins but they left with three. They walked away with a 45-37 win over Green Run. That's another feather in the cap for Kellam, who also won these teams' last head-to-head.
It was another big night for Caroline Casady, who dropped a double-double on 25 points and 14 rebounds. As a matter of fact, that's the most points she has scored all season. The team also got some help courtesy of Kate Spain, who scored 12 points along with five rebounds and two steals.
Kellam has been performing incredibly well recently as they've won nine of their last ten games, which provided a nice bump to their 14-3 record this season. As for Green Run, their defeat dropped their record down to 10-6.
Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Kellam will take on Ocean Lakes at 7:00 p.m. on Wednesday. Green Run won't have much time to rest: their next contest is against Salem at 7:00 p.m. on January 24th. One thing working in Salem's favor is that they have posted big point totals in their last three contests.
