Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask West Delaware). They put the hurt on the Williamsburg Raiders with a sharp 12-2 win on Thursday. The victory continues a trend for the Hawks in their matchups with the Raiders: they've now won five in a row.

West Delaware pushed their record up to 9-6 with the win, which was their third straight on the road. The road victories came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 10.0 runs over those games. As for Williamsburg, they have traveled a rocky road recently, having lost eight of their last nine contests. That's put a noticeable dent in their 4-9 record this season.

West Delaware didn't take long to hit the field again: they've already played their next match, an 11-0 loss against Ballard on the 13th. As for Williamsburg, they will look to defend their home field on Monday against Solon at 5:00 p.m.
