The Therrell Panthers scored the most points they've had all season to find success  on Saturday. They put the hurt on KIPP Atlanta Collegiate with a sharp  54-30 victory. That looming  54-30 mark stands out as the most commanding margin for Therrell yet this  season.
 Therrell's success was the result of a balanced attack that saw several players step up, but  Daiyona Stowers led the charge by  dropping  a double-double on 16  rebounds and 16  blocks. That's the first time this season that  Stowers  posted two or more   blocks. The team also got some help courtesy of  Azil Hazzard, who  scored 25 points.
 The  win was  the fourth in a row for Therrell, bringing their record for this year to 6-8. As for KIPP Atlanta Collegiate, they  still haven't won a game yet this season and fell to 0-12.
 Both  squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Therrell and South Atlanta will face off  at 5:30  p.m.  on January 29th without much rest after finishing up games yesterday. South Atlanta is no doubt hoping to put an end to  a five-game streak of away losses. As for KIPP Atlanta Collegiate, KIPP Atlanta Collegiate and Washington will face off  at 5:30  p.m.  on January 30th without much rest after finishing up games yesterday. Washington and KIPP Atlanta Collegiate are at an even 5-5 over their past ten head-to-heads.
