Westfield Area took down Adams-Friendship 42-0 last week, the largest margin of any game. Alex Slowey threw for 60 yards and ran for 105 yards during the win.
The Pioneers' offense was tough to stop this week, as it produced the league's top passer, rusher and receiver. Greg Winkelman threw for 47 and 1 touchdown and Tyler Janke had 93 yards receiving. On the ground Slowey chipped in 105 yards. Winkelman helped Westfield Area's passing attack out by catching 1 ball for 14 yards.
Slowey was a passing and rushing force as Westfield Area defeated the Green Devils. Slowey's favorite target this week was Janke, who caught 4 passes for 93 yards.
Winkelman put up the best numbers in passing as Mike Marr's team beat Adams-Friendship.
Westfield Area's offense has been unstoppable this season and the Pioneers feature the season leaders in passing, rushing and receiving yards. Slowey has thrown for 680 yards and 7 touchdowns this season, while Janke has 17 catches for 443 yards. Slowey also leads the league in rushing with 730 yards.
An important game coming up in the league this week will be when Nekoosa takes on the Green Devils. At the moment, the Papermakers are in first, while Adams-Friendship is in sixth.
