After flying high against the Cherry Hill West Lions last Saturday, The Moorestown Quakers came back down to earth. Moorestown was outmatched by Brick Memorial on the road and fell 41-7. Having soared to a lofty 35 points in the game before, Moorestown couldn't push the score so high this time.
Connor Dietz was his usual excellent self, rushing for 188 yards and three touchdowns while picking up 11.8 yards per carry, and also throwing for 202 yards and a touchdown while completing 77.8% of his passes. Dietz is on a roll when it comes to rushing yards, as he's now rushed for 100 or more in the last three games he's played. Nyzier Matthews did his part to keep the secondary busy, picking up 102 receiving yards and a touchdown.
Moorestown's defeat dropped their record down to 6-4. As for Brick Memorial, the win for they keeps them at an undefeated 10-0.
Moorestown does not have any more games scheduled as of now. Brick Memorial will stay at home for another week and welcome Long Branch at 6:00 p.m. on November 3rd.
