North Penn-Liberty was led to victory by Blake Oakley and Louis Mercantino. Oakley dropped a double-double on 13 points and ten rebounds, while Mercantino scored 21 points. Oakley has been hot recently, having posted two or more blocks the last four times he's played. Another player making a difference was Carter Grinnell, who scored 12 points.
Meadowbrook Christian's loss dropped their record down to 5-4. As for North Penn-Liberty, the victory got them back to even at 5-5.
Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Meadowbrook Christian will face off against Our Lady of Lourdes Regional at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. As for North Penn-Liberty, they will head out on the road to face off against Sayre at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. The matchup should be an exciting one, as these teams are ranked near one another in Pennsylvania (Sayre is ranked 457th, while North Penn-Liberty is ranked 462nd).
