Tinley Park is a perfect 7-0 against Blue Island Eisenhower since April of 2017 and they'll have a chance to extend that dominance on Thursday. The Titans will take on the Cardinals at 4:30 p.m. The teams are on pretty different trajectories at the moment (Tinley Park has three straight victories, Blue Island Eisenhower has three straight losses), but none of that matters once you're on the field.
On Tuesday, Tinley Park got the win against Bremen by a conclusive 15-5. The result was nothing new for the Titans, who have now won seven games by ten runs or more so far this season.

Emily Korduplewski made a splash while hitting and pitching. She pitched four innings while giving up just two earned (and one unearned) runs off one hit. She has been consistent for a while: she hasn't given up more than two walks in ten consecutive appearances. She was also solid in the batter's box, getting on base in all three of her plate appearances with three runs and one stolen base. Those three runs gave her a new career-high.
In other batting news, Tinley Park got a massive performance out of Megan Piotrowski, who went 1-for-3 with three runs, one triple, and one stolen base. Piotrowski has been hot, having posted at least one stolen base the last seven times she's played. The team also got some help courtesy of Lilia Flores, who went 1-for-3 with three RBI, one run, and one double.
Tinley Park always had someone on base and finished the game having posted an OBP of .548. The team's really been improving in that area: they've now improved their OBP total in three consecutive matchups.
Meanwhile, Blue Island Eisenhower lost 17-3 to Reavis on Wednesday.
Blue Island Eisenhower saw six different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Lana Krapf, who went 1-for-3 with one stolen base and one RBI.
Tinley Park pushed their record up to 11-8 with the win, which was their fourth straight at home. The home victories came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 3.0 runs on average over those games. As for Blue Island Eisenhower, their defeat dropped their record down to 7-10.
The pitchers for both teams better look sharp on Thursday as neither team is afraid to steal. Tinley Park has been swiping bases left and right this season, having averaged 3.9 stolen bases per game. However, it's not like Blue Island Eisenhower struggles in that department as they've been averaging an even more impressive 3.5 stolen bases. The only question left is which team can snag more.
Tinley Park took their win against Blue Island Eisenhower when the teams last played back in April of 2024 by a conclusive 23-0 score. Will the Titans repeat their success, or do the Cardinals have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
