The Kenosha Tremper Trojans won the last time they faced the Racine Park Panthers, and things went their way on Tuesday too. Kenosha Tremper came out on top against Racine Park by a score of 54-41. Given Kenosha Tremper's advantage in MaxPreps' Wisconsin basketball rankings (they are ranked 117th, while Racine Park is ranked 252nd), the result wasn't entirely unexpected.
Racine Park lost despite a true team effort on the offense, the best among them being Myasia Bostick, who dropped a double-double on ten points and 14 rebounds. Bostick has been hot recently, having posted eight or more rebounds the last nine times she's played. The team also got some help courtesy of Addison Betker, who dropped a double-double on 13 points and 11 rebounds.
Kenosha Tremper is on a roll lately: they've won six of their last seven contests, which provided a nice bump to their 15-7 record this season. As for Racine Park, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 10-13.
Kenosha Tremper will head out on the road to challenge Kenosha Bradford at 4:30 p.m. on Thursday. Kenosha Bradford will roll in looking for their tenth straight victory, something Kenosha Tremper surely won't give up without a fight. As for Racine Park, they will be playing in front of their home fans against Oak Creek at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Hopefully Racine Park focused on turnovers this week since the team gave up 18 on Tuesday.
