Chippewa won the last time they faced Northwestern, and Rory Petit did her part to make sure it happened again. The Chipps walked away with a 3-1 win over the Huskies on Saturday with plenty of help from Petit, who had 21 digs and three assists. She has been hot, having posted 11 or more digs the last six times she's played.

The final score came out to 25-12, 23-25, 25-12, 25-17.

Chippewa's victory ended a three-game drought at home and bumped them up to 5-5. As for Northwestern, their defeat was their sixth straight on the road, which dropped their record down to 2-9.

Chippewa didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next game, a 3-1 win against Central Christian on the 15th. As for Northwestern, they also wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next matchup, a 3-1 loss against Independence on the 15th.
