HCYA won against Kingdom Homeschool on Thursday with 15 runs and they decided to stick to that run total again on Friday. HCYA didn't even let the BVCHEA HomeSchool Mustangs on the board, marking HCYA's second-straight 15-0 shutout. The victory was familiar territory for HCYA, who have now won three matches in a row.

James Norman looked comfortable as he tossed three innings while giving up no earned runs or hits. He has been consistent for a while: he hasn't given up more than one walk in ten consecutive appearances.

At the plate, Jackson Davis was a standout: he went 1-for-2 with one home run and two RBI. Those two RBI gave him a new career-high. The team also got some help courtesy of Tyde Tracy, who scored two runs and stole a base while going 2-for-3.

HCYA always had someone on base and finished the game having posted an OBP of .769. That's the best OBP they've posted all season.

HCYA's win bumped their record up to 18-13. As for BVCHEA HomeSchool, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 1-4-1.

HCYA didn't take long to hit the field again: they've already played their next game, a 6-2 victory against Varsity Opponent on the 11th. As for BVCHEA HomeSchool, they will venture away from home to challenge Texas Wind on Thursday.
