On Thursday, Berean Academy was fully in charge, breezing past Tri-City Christian Academy 48-16 at home. 48 seems to be a good number for Berean Academy as the team scooped up a win with the same number of points in their previous game.
Meanwhile, Imagine Prep Coolidge took a serious blow against Tri-City Christian Academy last Thursday, falling 38-4. While losing is never fun, Imagine Prep Coolidge can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Arizona basketball rankings (they are ranked 237th, while Tri-City Christian Academy is ranked 30th).
Berean Academy now has a winning record of 3-2. As for Imagine Prep Coolidge, they bumped their record down to 0-5 with that loss, which was their eighth straight at home.
Everything came up roses for Berean Academy against Imagine Prep Coolidge in their previous matchup back in January of 2023 as the team secured a 51-8 win. The rematch might be a little tougher for Berean Academy since the team won't have the home-court advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
