The Temple Christian Academy Eagles's recent rough patch got a bit rougher on Monday after their fourth straight loss dating back to last season. They received a tough blow as they fell 64-47 to Central Baptist. The result was an unpleasant reminder to Temple Christian Academy of the 59-41 loss they experienced in the pair's previous head-to-head fixture last Friday.
Central Baptist got their win on the backs of several key players, but it was Nick King out in front who scored 19 points. King continues to roll, besting his previous point total in each of the last three games he's played. The team also got some help courtesy of Isaiah Williamson, who scored 16 points.
Temple Christian Academy's loss dropped their record down to 0-3. As for Central Baptist, the victory (which was their third in a row) raised their record to 10-4.
Temple Christian Academy does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Central Baptist, they will head out on the road to challenge Grace Baptist Academy at 6:00 p.m. on Friday. Central Baptist has been dominant on offense recently, as they've racked up an incredible 198 points over their last three games.
