Despite the defeat, Scottsboro had strong showings from Conner Vaden, who picked up 97 receiving yards and one touchdown, and Jayden Gilbert, who rushed for 96 yards.
Moody's victory bumped their record up to 12-2. As for Scottsboro, the loss snapped their winning streak at three games and leaves them with a 9-5 record.
Looking ahead, Moody will face off against Vigor at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday. The Wolves will roll in looking for their fifth straight win, something the Blue Devils surely won't give up without a fight. Scottsboro does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
