While Solon's win against Marion wasn't quite the blowout it was the last time the pair played, they still came out on top. The Spartans sure made it a nail-biter, but they managed to escape with a 6-4 victory over the Wolves on Monday. The Spartans haven't had any issues with the Wolves recently, as the game was their sixth consecutive win against them.

Solon's victory bumped their record up to 8-4. As for Marion, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 5-7.

Solon didn't take long to hit the field again: they've already played their next match, a 2-0 win against Regina on the 10th. As for Marion, they will take on Mt. Vernon at 5:30 p.m. on Wednesday.
