Charlotte Latin took a six-run loss the last time they faced off against Hopewell, but this time they managed to keep it close and that made all the difference. The Hawks skirted past the Titans 12-10. The win was familiar territory for the Hawks, who have now won three matchups in a row.

Jaden Hawa was a major factor no matter where he played. He looked comfortable on the mound, pitching one inning while giving up no earned runs or hits. Hawa was also big at the plate, going 2-for-4 with two stolen bases, two runs, and one RBI. That's the most stolen bases he has posted since back in March.

In other batting news, Charlotte Latin let Nick Smith and Sam Yin run wild.
