Arlington Christian has enjoyed a two-game homestand but will soon have to dust off their road jerseys. They just played last night, but they'll still head out to face the New Creation Christian Academy Crusaders at 6:00 p.m. on February 3rd. One thing working in Arlington Christian's favor is that they have posted big point totals in their last ten matchups.

Arlington Christian pushed the score to 66-46 by the end of the third, a deficit the Knights had little chance of recovering from.
It was another big night for Rico Williams, who dropped a double-double on 15 points and ten rebounds. It was the first time this season that he scored 15 or more points. Davon Aikens was another key contributor, scoring 20 points along with two steals.
Meanwhile, New Creation Christian Academy had already won four in a row (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 16.5 points), and they went ahead and made it five on Friday. They enjoyed a cozy 74-57 win over Konos Academy. Having run the score up that high, both teams might be doing some extra defensive drills very soon.
Arlington Christian's win was their fourth straight at home, which pushed their record up to 11-6. Those good results were due in large part to their offensive dominance across that stretch, as they averaged 75.8 points per game. As for New Creation Christian Academy, they are on a roll lately: they've won seven of their last eight matches, which provided a massive bump to their 15-8 record this season.
Arlington Christian came out on top in a nail-biter against the Crusaders in their previous meeting back in January, sneaking past 65-62. The rematch might be a little tougher for Arlington Christian since the team won't have the home-court advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
