Pawnee had to skate by with only a two-run margin when they last took the field, which might have inspired the 12-run drubbing they dealt Gillespie on Thursday. The Indians were the clear victors by a 13-1 margin over the Miners. Considering the Indians have won 14 matchups by more than five runs this season, Thursday's blowout was nothing new.

The win was the fourth in a row for Pawnee, bringing their record up to 19-12. The victories came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 1.5 runs on average over those games. As for Gillespie, their defeat dropped their record down to 15-9.

Looking ahead, Pawnee will take on Springfield at 4:30 p.m. on Monday. As for Gillespie, they will host Calhoun at 4:30 p.m. on Friday.
