Washington's victory was a true team effort, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was La Nia Moore, who dropped a double-double on 23 points and 11 rebounds. Moore is crushing the rebound category: she's posted at least eight every time she's taken the court this season. Makiya Edwards was another key contributor, dropping a double-double on 27 points and 12 rebounds.
Washington is on a roll lately: they've won ten of their last 13 games, which provided a nice bump to their 14-6 record this season. As for East, they are on a nine-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 1-17.
