West Iredell won the last time it faced Hickory Hawks, and things went their way on Friday, too. West Iredell crushed Hickory Hawks 47-0. The game was pretty much decided by the half, when the score had already reached 34-0. This was the first game for both teams, giving West Iredell a 1-0 record and starting Hickory Hawks off at 0-1.
Next week, West Iredell take on South Iredell at 7:30 PM. As for Hickory Hawks, they will face of against Southside Christian.
