Last Saturday, Jonathan Alder took their game on the road with ease, bagging a 54-27 victory over the Cougars. With Jonathan Alder ahead 36-11 at the half, the match was all but over already.
Meanwhile, Bellefontaine struggled with assists on Tuesday (the Warriors had ten more) and sadly the final score reflected it. Bellefontaine took a 52-35 bruising from the Warriors. Bellefontaine has now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.
Despite their loss, Bellefontaine saw several players rise to the challenge and make noteworthy plays. Lexi Robinson, who scored 13 points, was perhaps the best of all. Another player making a difference was Parker Penhorwood, who scored four points along with four steals.
Jonathan Alder has been performing incredibly well recently as they've won six of their last seven games, which provided a massive bump to their 11-6 record this season. As for Bellefontaine, they now have a losing record at 9-10.
Jonathan Alder came up short against the Chieftains in their previous meeting back in December of 2023, falling 48-40. Can Jonathan Alder avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
