Olympic's defeat came despite a true team effort with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Jaden Hardnett, who went 7-for-15 on his way to 23 points. Those 23 points gave Hardnett a new career-high. The team also got some help courtesy of JD Terrell, who posted 12 points in addition to eight assists and six rebounds.

Awosanya is also on a roll when it comes to shooting accuracy, as he's posted one of at least 50% in the last 13 games he's played. Another player making a difference was Bram Early, who put up 12 points along with seven assists and six boards.
Olympic's loss dropped their record down to 17-8. As for Myers Park, they have been performing incredibly well recently as they've won six of their last seven matches. That's provided a nice bump to their 14-11 record this season.
Olympic will head out to challenge East Forsyth at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday. East Forsyth knows how to get points on the board -- the squad has finished with 55 points or more in their past three contests -- so hopefully Olympic likes a good challenge. As for Myers Park, they wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next game, a 57-49 defeat against South Mecklenburg on the 21st.
