Softball Recap: Lakeridge Gets the Win

Lakeridge's game on Wednesday was a loss, but they didn't let that memory haunt them on Friday. They walked away with a 9-5 victory over the Lake Oswego Lakers. The win continues a trend for the Pacers in their matchups with the Lakers: they've now won four in a row.

MILLIE MACKENZIE was incredible, going 2-for-4 with four RBI, one triple, and one run. Those four RBI gave her a new career-high. The team also got some help courtesy of MADELINE MOEHL, who went 2-for-3 with two runs and two RBI.

Lakeridge's victory bumped their record up to 2-9. As for Lake Oswego, they are on a four-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 6-6.

We've got plenty of inter-league action coming up soon. Lakeridge is set to take on their familiar foe West Linn at 5:00 p.m. on Monday. Meanwhile, Lake Oswego will face off against rival Oregon City at 6:00 p.m. on Monday.
