Curwensville had to skate by with only a two-run margin when they last took the field, which might have inspired the nine-run drubbing they dealt Purchase Line on Monday.  Curwensville  kept the outfield on their toes and  finished the game with 12  hits. They are  a perfect 4-0 when  they post 11 or more  hits.
Curwensville's record now sits at 7-5. As for Purchase Line, they have  been struggling recently as they've  lost six of their last eight matches. That's put a noticeable dent in their 7-6 record  this season.
 Both  squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Curwensville will take on Moshannon Valley at 4:30  p.m.  on Tuesday. As for Purchase Line, they will face off against Marion Center at 4:30  p.m.  on Tuesday.
