Fred Trevillion was a beast in the backfield as Brookhaven bested Pearl River Central.

Leading 5A Region 3 in both passing and receiving yards, Laurel's Howard and Cooley have proven to be a lethal combination. 6-2 quarterback Howard has thrown for 2,296 yards this season, while Cooley has 47 catches for 927 yards. Garret Duplechain from Pearl River Central leads the league in rushing with 813 yards.
Todd Breland's team's Cooley is a few successful plays short of surpassing 1,000 yards receiving this season. He needs only 73 receiving yards against Stone to hit that benchmark. So far this year, he has garnered 47 catches for 927 yards.
Wayne County took down the Braves 50-0 last week, the largest margin of any game. D.J. Cameron ran for 185 yards during the win.
