The Bethlehem Academy Cardinals scored the most points they've had all season to find success on Friday. They blew past Rochester STEM Academy 85-61. The win was a breath of fresh air for Bethlehem Academy as it put an end to their six-game losing streak.
Ilyas Hassan and Ismail Nur certainly did their best on Friday to try and avoid the loss. Hassan scored 18 points along with five assists and three steals, while Nur scored 18 points. Another player making a difference was Saeed Mohamed, who scored 13 points along with two steals.
Bethlehem Academy's win ended a four-game drought on the road and puts them at 2-11. As for Rochester STEM Academy, their loss dropped their record down to 2-14.
Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Bethlehem Academy will take on Randolph at 7:15 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Rochester STEM Academy, they will be playing in front of their home fans against Plainview-Elgin-Millville at 7:15 p.m. on Tuesday.
