After having lost a blowout in their previous game against Central, the Harmony Area Owls were happy to have found some success on Friday. They walked away with a 63-50 win over Glendale. This was payback for Harmony Area, who suffered a 42-36 defeat the last time these two teams met.
It was another big night for Jack Bracken, who dropped a double-double on 18 points and 18 rebounds. That makes it seven consecutive games in which he has scored at least 25% of Harmony Area's points. Another player making a difference was Parker Maseto, who scored eight points along with six assists.
Harmony Area's win bumped their record up to 2-5. As for Glendale, they have been struggling recently, as they've lost three of their last four games, which put a noticeable dent in their 2-4 record this season.
Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Harmony Area will square off against Marion Center at 7:10 p.m. on Monday. Hopefully Marion Center focused on turnovers this week since the team gave up 15 on Friday. Glendale is on the road again on Tuesday and play against Northern Bedford County at 7:00 p.m. on December 19th. Hopefully Northern Bedford County focused on turnovers this week since the team gave up 21 on Friday.
