Plainfield moved up to 87 from 124 in the state rankings this week, the biggest jump in Eastern Connecticut - Small. The Panthers climbed the ranks as a result of a 43-6 win over St. Bernard-Norwich RVT.
Griswold and Waterford played the most hotly contested game in the league this week, with Griswold eventually emerging with a 13-12 victory.
A big matchup in the league this week will be when the Saints take on the Wolverines. St. Bernard-Norwich RVT is in fourth place, while Griswold is in second place.
Plainfield led Eastern Connecticut - Small in scoring this week after putting up 43 points on the Saints.
