Marsh Valley won the last time they faced Malad and things went their way on Tuesday too. The Eagles blew past the Dragons 8-1. The Eagles might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won nine games by seven runs or more this season.

Marsh Valley pushed their record up to 10-1 with the victory, which was their tenth straight at home dating back to last season. The home wins came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 12.4 runs over those games. As for Malad, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 4-4.

Looking ahead, Marsh Valley will head out to challenge South Fremont at 4:00 p.m. on Thursday. The Cougars have struggled to contain batters this season (they've allowed 8.12 runs per game on average), something the Eagles will no doubt try to take advantage of.
