If the MaxPreps state rankings hold true, the near future looks bright for Bellevue. On Friday they take on North Cedar at 7:00 PM. Bellevue are coming into the matchup hot, having won six in a row.
Last Friday, Bellevue put the finishing touches on their 5th blowout victory of the season. Everything came up roses for them against Beckman as the team secured a 42-7 win. The contest was all but wrapped up at the end of the third, by which point Bellevue had established a 35-0 advantage.
Meanwhile, there's no need to mince words: North Cedar lost to West Branch, and they lost bad. The score wound up at 14-52. This makes it the second defeat in a row for North Cedar.
Bellevue simply couldn't be stopped the last time the two teams met, as they easily beat North Cedar 54-13. The rematch might be a little tougher for Bellevue since the team won't have home-field advantage. Watch the game and check back on MaxPreps to see if the change in venue makes a difference.
