After two games on the road, the Dayton Bulldogs are heading back home. They will take on Eagle Academy on Monday. Dayton is the slight favorite, but fans of both teams should be in for an exciting contest likely to go down to the wire.
It was a hard-fought game, but Dayton had to settle for a 56-46 defeat against Johnson last Thursday. Senior Dj Alicea (13 points) was the top scorer for the Bulldogs. This also makes it seven games in a row in which Alicea has had at least three steals.
Meanwhile, Eagle Academy narrowly escaped with a win as the squad sidled past Tech 41-37.
Dayton is now 7-9 while Eagle Academy sits at a mirror-image 9-7. Eagle Academy is 4-4 after wins this year, and Dayton is 4-4 after losses.
