The Washington School for the Deaf Terriers''s game last Thursday was a tough loss, but they didn't let that memory haunt them on Thursday. They walked away with a 26-19 victory over Lake Quinault. Washington School for the Deaf's offense checked out after the first half but had enough points banked to take the game anyway.
Evan Stromberg was the offensive standout of the contest as he threw for 159 yards and two touchdowns on only 15 passes, and also punched in a touchdown on the ground. La'Juan Malone was in the mix as well, providing Washington School for the Deaf with two touchdowns.
Washington School for the Deaf now has a winning record of 4-3. As for Lake Quinault, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 5-2-1.
Washington School for the Deaf does not have any more games scheduled as of now. Lake Quinault will head out on the road to face off against Clallam Bay at 7:00 p.m. on November 3rd.
