Basketball Game Preview: Stuart W. Cramer Storm vs. Ashbrook Greenwave

Stuart W. Cramer is probably headed into the game with a chip on their shoulder considering Huss just ended the team's 11-game winning streak on Friday. They took a 61-50 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Huskies.

Stuart W. Cramer might have lost, but man, Oshauna Holland was a machine: she dropped a double-double on 24 points and 11 rebounds. Holland has been hot for a while, having also posted three or more steals the last 46 times she's played. Hadley Womack was another key player, putting up 12 points and four steals.

Even though they lost, Stuart W. Cramer was working as a unit and finished the game with 12 assists. They easily outclassed their opponents in that department as Huss only racked up five assists.

Meanwhile, Ashbrook played a tough matchup on Thursday in which they were outscored in every quarter. They had to suffer through a 61-30 loss at the hands of Huss. The Greenwave haven't had much luck with the Huskies recently, as the team's come up short the last five times they've met.

Stuart W. Cramer's loss was their first in the conference, dropping their conference record down to 5-1 and their overall record down to 14-2. As for Ashbrook, their defeat ended a three-game streak of wins at home and dropped them to 6-9.

Stuart W. Cramer beat Ashbrook 70-61 in their previous meeting back in December of 2024. One of the biggest obstacles the team faced in that game was Ashbrook's Jakyra Sadler, who dropped a double-double on 32 points and ten assists.
